Notable: The Bulldogs stopped an Alvarado two-point conversion try and another late drive by Alvarado to complete an undefeated season. It was the second consecutive title game for Chapel Hill, who lost 28-21 to Henderson in 2010.

He got some redemption in the 2011 state championship game, as he scored twice, including a 66 yard TD reception, as well as being named the game’s most valuable player.
